Project’s Overview
The 220/132/33KV Farrukhabad Substation Project in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, is a pivotal initiative aimed at significantly enhancing the region’s power infrastructure. Commissioned by the Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (UPPTCL), this ambitious project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art, SAS-based 220/132/33KV AIS substation. By integrating advanced Substation Automation Systems (SAS), the project aims to boost the capacity and reliability of the local power transmission network, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted power supply.
With a total investment of Rs. 22,83,30,000.00, the project underscores the commitment to modernizing the energy infrastructure to meet growing demands. The substation was completed and handed over to UPPTCL on April 22, 2024. This new facility is a critical development for the region, playing a key role in stabilizing and optimizing power distribution in Farrukhabad and its surrounding areas.
